Relish School Food are seeking to appoint a casual (zero contracted hours) Kitchen Assistant at our friendly and successful school.

This appointment is to cover staff absence and so you will need to be readily available during the school week, to be called upon as and when necessary, usually between the hours of 9.00am and 2pm.

 

Working with our team of kitchen staff you will be expected to assist in the preparation of school dinners, serving when necessary and clearing away, helping to maintain a high standard of kitchen hygiene.

 

You will be required to hold a Food Hygiene Certificate for which training will be provided.

 

The successful candidate will:

 

• enjoy working in a child-centred environment
• be literate and numerate
• demonstrate an enthusiasm and interest in food and nutrition
